ENSCHEDE – Vanaf 24 januari is de Monsoon Vulkano, ‘s werelds eerste 5 in 1 videoplatform beschikbaar in Europa. De Vulkano is het Zwitsers zakmes onder de mediaspelers:  overal ter wereld TV kijken & opnemen via iPad, iPhone, smartphone, Mac of PC. Het is allemaal mogelijk met de Vulkano. Daarnaast kan de Vulkano op een TV worden aangesloten om vakkundig uw foto-, muziek- en videobestanden af te spelen. Ook YouTube filmpjes bekijken op uw TV in HD formaat (tot 1080p) zijn geen enkel probleem. De Vulkano van het Amerikaanse Monsoon Multimedia is in een exclusieve samenwerking met importeur DigiPort Europe nu bereikbaar voor de Europese consument.

Sling Media stelde gisteren in Amsterdam de Slingbox PRO-HD voor, de  nieuwste aanwinst in de Slingbox productreeks.

Met de Slingbox PRO-HD kunnen gebruikers op hun pc of laptop genieten van hd video content die op hun televisie thuis wordt afgespeeld. Daarnaast is het mogelijk om video content te bekijken die afkomstig is van draadloze digitale DVBT signalen, een hdtv kabelontvanger, hdtv satellietontvanger of HD PVR. Indien de Slingbox PRO-HD in combinatie wordt gebruikt met de toepassing SlingPlayer for Mobile, kunnen gebruikers beelden rechtstreeks naar een compatibel mobiel toestel streamen om de videocontent onderweg te bekijken.

De Slingbox PRO-HD is het eerste en enige product binnen de Slingbox reeks dat in staat is om hd content te streamen. Waar de Slingbox PRO en Slingbox SOLO hdtv bronnen in sd resoluties omzetten, levert de Slingbox PRO-HD videobeelden in de oorspronkelijke resolutie aan op elke laptop of PC die ondersteuning voor hd content biedt. Het is ook mogelijk om videocontent naar een tweede televisie te streamen indien SlingCatcher wordt gebruikt.

De Slingbox PRO-HD is speciaal ontwikkeld om te voorzien in veelzijdige behoeften van de moderne televisiekijker. Het product biedt ondersteuning voor standaard (4:3) en breedbeeld (16:9) videocontent en is uitgerust met meerdere ingebouwde audiovisuele ingangen en uitgangen (Digital Terrestrial tv Tuner, S-video, composietvideo, componentvideo en analoog of multi-channel, 5.1 surround digital audio).

Elke ingang is bovendien voorzien van ingebouwde looping uitgangen. De Slingbox PRO-HD transformeert pc’s, laptops, Macs en tal van smartphones tot persoonlijke, draagbare televisies.

ENSCHEDE – De Pogoplug van Cloud Engines biedt een zeer flexibele manier voor online opslag via uw webbrowser. De Pogoplug deelt namelijk de inhoud van aangesloten USB opslagapparaten, zoals externe harde schijven en geheugensticks met uw thuisnetwerk en internet. ENSCHEDE – DigiPort Europe heeft recent een contract afgesloten met Slingmedia –het bedrijf achter de Slingbox– voor de distributie van Slingmedia producten in Nederland. De Slingbox geeft wereldwijd toegang tot je multimediabronnen thuis, zoals TV of Blue Ray speler, en laat ze bedienen alsof de afstandsbediening binnen handbereik ligt. In 2007 heeft kabelaar UPC de Slingbox Solo aangeboden aan haar klanten, maar is hiermee vorig jaar gestopt, vanwege een wijziging in productstrategie.

Since today the Digizon external TV card is available: an express card with USB stand. The card includes an analog and digital tuner DVB-T tuner (free-to-air, MPEG-2 & H.264 HDTV). Moreover, the card has an external video-input to connect a video camera or digital tuner. A player is available for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
