Requirements for Vulkano Mobile Players – Blackberry

Vulkano Requirements:

• Watching TV away from home requires your Vulkano to have an Internet connection
• Vulkano Mobile Players work best if your Vulkano software is current. Download and install the latest version of the Vulkano TV Setup Wizard or PC Player on your home computer then run Setup with your Vulkano attached to your home network.
• A wired Ethernet or wireless (802.11n,g) home network is required to setup remote TV viewing and transferring of recorded programs.
• A high-speed (broadband) Internet connection of at least 256Kb upstream speed at home
• Network download speed of 150Kbps (or higher)
• Device Requirements:
• 25 MB free memory is required on your Blackberry to install the Vulkano Blackberry Player
• This build is tested to work on Blackberry Bold 9000, 9700 and Blackberry Torch 9800
• Vulkano Player for Blackberry - Installation Instructions:
• Unzip the file to extract its contents. It will extract the contents in to a folder named 030
• Connect your Blackberry phone to your PC and open the Blackberry Desktop Manager application on it
• From the Blackberry Desktop Manager, choose the file Vulkano.alx in the folder 030 to uploaded the application on your phone

Requirements for Vulkano Mobile Players – iPhone/iPad

Vulkano Requirements:

• A wired Ethernet or wireless (802.11n,g) home network is required to setup remote TV viewing and transferring of recorded programs.
• A high-speed (broadband) Internet connection of at least 256Kb upstream speed at home
• Network download speed of 150Kbps (or higher)
• Device Requirements:
• 25 MB free memory is required on the iPhone/iPad to install the Vulkano iPhone/iPad Player

Requirements for Vulkano Mobile Plauers - Android

Vulkano Requirements:

• Watching TV away from home requires your Vulkano to have an Internet connection

• Network download speed of 150Kbps (or higher)
• Device Requirements:
• 25 MB free memory is required on your Android phone to install the Vulkano Android Player

Vulkano PC Player Version 1.8.3.57 is now available!

• Improvement in Local and Remote connection time.
• Remote viewing bitrate upper limit increased from 2 Mbps to 2.5 Mbps
• Remote viewing lower bitrates are increased, depending on the resolution profile you have selected.  Your video bitrate and quality will stabilize more quickly.
• Number of days of EPG data is fixed to 14 days, and downloads automatically every day to keep 14 days of data available.
• If PC Player is left running for more than a day, the EPG data will update itself automatically.
• EPG option from menu is disabled when device does not support EPG.
